Melody served as Experience Director for each element of this ethical runway show to creatively educate, inspire & challenge leaders in the fashion industry to raise money and expand their commitments to clean supply chains. Complete with a preshow VIP Panel of industry experts, and hosted by ESPN Anchor and Women's Advocate, Molly Qerim.

Pro Athlete Retreat | IJM's Team Freedom
After scouting the location, Melody consulted with the dept head and advised her to refocus the primary goal of the retreat to creating community among IJM's pro athlete partnerships. By successfully aligning the team on the new experience direction, inner league relationships were created,deep brand loyalty was fostered, and strategic partnership opportunities were expanded.

Artist Trip to Guatemala | Lecrae x IJM
In August of 2023, Melody led an overteas trip with Grammy-Award winner, Lecrae, to invite him into a deeper understanding of IJM’s casework. The time together was profound and the beginning of a key partnership for IJM. He shared this reel upon return which highlights the relationship fostered and his authentic engagement in the impact.

Music Festival Director | Transparent Productions
TP brought Melody on as their interim Festival Director to oversee their 5 marquis summer music festivals. The role included managing multiple in-house teams, one key radio partnership, onsite sponsorships, fan experience, backstage artist experience, advance production logistics and day-of execution for all festivals.

Candle Labyrinth in the Desert | Oskavon Retreat x IJM
Melody designed this candle labyrinth for a contemplative experience in the desert for faith leaders. It was accompanied by a self-guided audio tour and produced using a combo of existing content to stay on budget, alongside outsourced voiceover and original music to strike the perfect tone. This 20-minute contemplative labyrinth walk included time for pause and reflection while sharing examples of IJM's justice work.

"Sparrows" | BTS on a real IJM rescue
This 2-min video is an edited version of a longer form 5-min video that was originally concepted and produced by Melody to celebrate the launch of IJM's Center to End OSEC (Online Sexual Abuse of Children.) Drawing inspiration from the real life experience of a colleague, this video was produced to support a call to action at a variety of live events and digital campaigns.

Chris Young Clemency Campaign | NowThis News
Actor/Director Chiké Okonkwo invited Melody to help him produce a documentary about Death Row inmate, Chris Young and the son of the man who Chris murdered, Mitesh Patel. Due to suddenly changing circumstances, the documentary production evolved into an urgent clemency appeal for Chris Young. That appeal became a national campaign and viral story thanks to partnership with NowThis and Versha Sharma. Devastatingly, Chris was still executed. However, with the ongoing support from Mitesh, this story continues to move the needle on restorative justice initiatives across the U.S and abroad.

Allyson Felix | Human Trafficking Day Campaign
Allyson Felix joined IJM's Super Bowl Campaign, to shine on light on Human Trafficking by increasing awareness, fundraising and advocacy efforts. She trusted Melody to write the script in her voice, source images/footage to fit the tone and partnered together on the eventual filming.

"Divine Belonging" | Installation Art for Conference
Melody was commissioned by IJM to concept, design and create this installation art to invite justice workers from all over the globe to meditate on belonging. The contemplative experience was also supported by additional art pieces from Scott Erickson.

The Redwoods | Animated Short
This is a short 2-min animated film Melody concepted, co-wrote and directed alongside IJM's Senior Filmmaker to breakdown IJM's complex 10-year goal into a palatable visual format that could be shown at a variety of events for all audiences.

A Dinner Project | Pop-Up Dinner Series
Melody founded A Dinner Project in 2016 as a bridge-building tool for curious citizens to engage in curated conversations on social issues. These brave dinner conversations featured topics such as race and guns, and proved that thoughtful face-to-face conversations do more to expand personal and collective narratives than loads of stats or online arguing could ever achieve.

IJM’s CEO requested Melody’s consult on the experience for this 5-day retreat for the global leadership team. The goal: create light hearted team-building moments that surprise and delfght these world-renowned justice leaders. The retreat feedback was overwhelming positive, with Sumo Soccer consistently noted as a favorite highlight among attendants.

Onsite Lead | Slaack Productions
Slaack Productions is one of Melody’s favorite go-to event designers. They’ve worked together in a variety of ways over the years - from them bringing Melody on to oversee event installs on behalf of their biggest clients, to Melody hiring them for their design expertise on some of her most cherished sparkling experiences. As with any client or vendor, whenever they team up, the goal is always to make each other better- and that is an easy goal for this team every time.

Creative Experience | Shaw's Cove Yacht Club
Melody co-conceptualized and led the production of five annual upscale events for this exclusive, 200-member social club of local business and community leaders. Despite strict budget adherence, she found creative waye to make sure each event honored cherished traditions while still standing out as a fresh, new experience.

A Night of Music & Laughing | ft Judith Hill, Allen English & DJ Promote
Comedian Allen English enlisted Melody to build an evening of music and comedy at an iconic LA venue. Grammy Award-Winning Judith Hill broke the crowd open with a powerful musical performance and Allen English showcased his finest comedic genius, followed with dance vibes from DJ Promote. Intertwining these mediums into a single event proved a hit to the audience demand for a repeat series.

OneRepublic x IJM | Tour Partnership
Artist tours featuring nonprofit partnerships are one of Melody’s favorite niche specialities. When IJM was ready to launch it’s first ever tour partnership of this scale, she was brought in to help build a framework for the activations, manage all partnership logistics, lead onsite staff training, and advise on the nightly stage messaging from lead singer, Ryan Tedder, on the call to action for IJM.

Film Premiere | SEEN
Melody produced this film premiere for IJM’s short-film SEEN. Former NFL player and ESPN analyst, Sam Acho, moderated the panel with Creative Director, Adam Thomason, and IJM’s Crime Analyst Specialist, Sally Frank. This Atlanta room was filled with professional athletes, artists, creatives, and conscious community members who leveraged their money, advocacy, time and influence to the world-changing casework of IJM.

Atelier 7918 Grand Opening | Newport Beach Concept Store
Melody was brought in by the owner of this designer concept store in Orange County to create a launch party that would ignite the Newport Beach locals and buzz all the way to LA. With local sponsors from Mastro’s and other Crystal Cove businesses, the grand opening kicked off with a brimming cocktail party with a portion of sales benefiting Project Hope Alliance.
